Hello Lance
Dress ties in to 'what do you wear' but step is so neat conjures up her personality better and having a neat dress may mean the American 'neat' which is too cheesy for me . English? Having a neat dress again doesn't do it for me so it's a bit of a conundrum... By the way I've kept in 'tomb should be disowned in Searcher! Love to all your mob

Still think it should be 'dress is so neat'.

Hi David
Good new website! You deserve one to yourself! I came to one of your gigs in Leith a couple of years ago and had a bit of a long chat to you. You may not remember, but I do I told you that I also sing but not so much now since my partner died. I love singing harmonies and can sing a harmony to anything! My daughter was at uni then and I came to visit her from Argyll, asking her to come with me to your gig. It was advertised through Iain Anderson's programme I think I remember talking to one of your friends who also studied History with me at the same time at Edinburgh! I love your music. I enjoy the entwining of religious imagery and the instant ordinariness of our lives! Maybe that's not what you think! Please let me know how you are doing and what the next plans are for you
Are you still at the Queen's Hall ?
Regards
Anthea

Heart Beat
Hi Laura
I used to see them play at The Netherbow Theatre in Edinburgh way back when they were in a band so may be some connection there.

A great radio station which actually plays requests. I asked for The Weepies (Gotta Have You) and Linger & Go. Played both! Great track. I like the whistling too Laura..

Well David, we go back a long way. Remember these evenings round the piano in Drummond Terrace, with big sis? Happy days, then.
Your songs are painful and haunting. I think I know where you've been... 'cos I've been there too. KM

WHISTLE WHILE YOU .....
Tom Morton was moaning about the whistling in Linger and Go on his radio show the other day. (although he likes the song evidently) I think its great - kind of breezy and poignant. Think Otis Redding, John Lennon...

Got my copy of the new album and am bowled over by some of the songs especially Cover Him and Marmion Road. Beautiful lyricism and many melancholy sentiments but with such a positive truthful vision of life.
