New Tracks - 13 May 2008

Some of David's new tracks will be played on BBC Radio Scotland/The Iain Anderson Show w/c Monday 19th May. David has been working on new songs : Another Eden, Headlong, Memory Bled Back, Man of Habit, Child Like the Sun.

COVER ME - 13 September 2007

BBC Radio Scotland's week of live concerts in their new HQ at Pacific Quay featured Ricky Ross and Davy Scott on Wed 12th September. Ricky coverd David's song Linger and Go as part of his set and reminisced about days playing in Edinburgh back in the 70's. Shows are available for a week on the Radio Scotland website.

Edinburgh songwriter David Heavenor plays one of his occasional live shows, featuring material from his recent album The Automatic Eye. Joining him for this show is performer, producer, broadcaster and chief Pearlfisher, David Scott (producer of The Automatic Eye).

The memorable lines and cinematic images from songs such as Linger and Go and Sign in a Stranger , a tone reminiscent of Al Stewart or Nick Drake, and the unmistakable atmosphere of Edinburgh in winter, have won David an intrigued and appreciative worldwide audience on BBC Radio Scotland's Iain Anderson Show over the years, as well as the continued support of Ricky Ross, BBC Radio Scotland's Tom Morton, and David Scott (as above).

RADIO PLAYS - 27 September 2006

David's song Boys With No Love was Tom Morton's Top Titillating Track on his BBC Radio Scotland afternoon show on Tues 26th Sept. 'Excellent new album''' he said from the Barn of Bannock's , his home studio on the Shetland Isles.

Guest hosts Ricky Ross and Mary Ann Kennedy have also played tracks from the album on The Iain Anderson show along with Mr Anderson himself when he returned after his summer break.

New Album - 6 July 2006

David's new album THE AUTOMATIC EYE will be released on 1 August 2006 featuring 12 songs recorded and produced in the studio at East Kilbride Arts Centre by David Scott. David is joined on keyboards, bass, guitar and multifarious other instruments by David Scott of Glasgow bands The Pearlfishers and Teenage Fanclub whose other member Stuart Kidd plays drums. New Album - 18 January 2006

David is working on a new album which should be ready in May or June. Produced by David Scott he' s been yo -yoing along the motorways between Edinburgh and East Kilbride where David runs the studio at The Arts Centre. Check out his band, The Pearlfishers on Marina Records.
